Hawaii's Kilauea volcano has been continuing spewing lava ever since it started erupting on May 3. 

夏威夷基拉韦亚火山自本月3日爆发以来，一直喷涌着岩浆。

More than 1,700 local residents have been evacuated from the volcano's East Rift Zone on the Big Island of Hawaii, where lava from 20 fissure vents has destroyed 26 homes. 

夏威夷大岛上的东裂谷地区逾1700名当地居民已经被疏散，从火山的20处裂缝喷出的岩浆毁坏了26处住宅。

But, people can't stop taking selfies with the dangerous volcano and posting them on social media. 

即便到现在，仍不断有人与危险的火山自拍，并将照片上传到社交媒体。

"The fissures are deadly, very deadly. We're currently in a condition red because of the increased ash in the area," Alan Richmond, spokesman for the Hawaii Police Department, told People, explaining why people should not even be visiting the lava flows, let alone be taking selfies with them. 

夏威夷警察局发言人艾伦•里士满向人们解释为何不能去参观岩浆流，更不能与它们一起自拍，他说："裂缝是致命的，非常致命。该地区火山灰在不断增加，因此目前我们处于红色警戒状态。"

In order to protect people, Hawaii police have set up roadblocks to prevent nonresidents from entering nearby neighborhoods to snap photos.

There was also speculation the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did the same at their wedding in 2011. Though a heartwarming gesture if it were true, the empty seat actually had nothing to do with her.

According to Buckingham Palace sources, the spot in front of the Queen is always left empty, because no one is allowed to sit in front of the Queen.

An American man called police to report that he was being stalked by a pig in the early hours of Saturday morning, only for officers to accuse him of being drunk. 

19日凌晨，美国一男子报警称自己遭到猪的跟踪，结果反被警官斥责是他醉酒.

But when cops were sent out to find the man in North Ridgeville, Ohio, they discovered that he was sober and telling the truth. 

然而当警察被派往俄亥俄州北里奇维尔去寻找这名男子时，发现该男子非常清醒且所言属实。

A North Ridgeville Police Department spokesman said, "At 5:26 this morning we received a call from a male who stated that he was walking home on Center Ridge from the train station in Elyria. He went on to state that he was being followed by a pig and didn't know what to do."

An officer wrangled the pig into his cruiser, and it was taken to a police station where cops housed it in a dog kennel, before later reuniting the animal with its owner.

Former US president Bill Clinton is scheduled to travel the US and Canada in a promotional tour for his new novel, "The President is Missing". 

美国前总统比尔•克林顿计划在美国和加拿大办巡展为其新小说《总统失踪》做宣传。

The novel tells the story of a sitting president who disappears from the White House in the midst of a looming cyber terrorist attack. 

这部小说讲述的是一位现任总统在一次网络恐怖袭击中从白宫消失的故事。

Clinton, already a best-selling author for his 2004 autobiography "My Life," began raking in the cash for the fictional thriller that he wrote with mega-bestselling novelist James Patterson before the book was finished. 

克林顿早在2004年就凭借自传《我的生活》成为畅销书作家，如今他与超级畅销小说家詹姆斯•帕特森合著的这部惊悚小说尚未完成就开始大肆"吸金"。

He and his co-author reportedly signed a seven-figure deal with Showtime last year for the rights to turn the novel into a TV series. 

据报道，去年克林顿与帕特森同Showtime签下价值数百万的协议，授权将该小说拍成电视剧。

Frenzied bidding for the television rights for the book began at $5 million last fall among some of the biggest players in Hollywood, including Steven Spielberg and Ron Howard.

去年秋季，该书的电视改编权引发了激烈的竞拍，起拍价达500万美元，史蒂文•斯皮尔伯格和朗•霍华德等好莱坞顶尖大腕儿均参与其中。
