Five creatures live in our house.

在我家屋子里住着五个生灵。

Three humans and two cats.

三个人和两只猫。

Three short,and two tall.

三个矮的，两个高的。

Four grownups,and one child.(That's  me!)

四个大人，一个孩子。（就是我！）

Three with orange hair,and two with gray. 

三个橙色的毛发，两个灰色毛发。

Two with long hair,three with short.

两个长发，三个短发。

Four who like to eat fish.

四个喜欢吃鱼。

Three who like to drink milk,

三个喜欢喝牛奶，

one who's allergic,

一个对它过敏，

and one who has it only in coffee.

还有一个要混着咖啡喝。

Two who like to eat mice.

两个喜欢吃老鼠。

Only one who likes to eat beets.

只有一个喜欢吃甜菜。

Three who sleep in my bed.

三个睡我床上。

Three who don't like taking baths.

三个不喜欢洗澡。

Three who can button buttons.

三个会扣纽扣，

Four who can open cupboards.

四个会开碗柜。

Four who can get up on the high stools.

四个能坐到高凳上。

One who can crawl under the fridge.

一个可以匍匐在冰箱下。

One who sings loud late at night.

一个会在深夜大声唱歌。

And one who sings in the morning.

一个在白天唱歌。

Three who nap with the Sunday newspaper.

三人看着周日报会瞌睡。

Two who can read,and one who is learning.

两个会读书，一个在学习。

Three who climb trees.

三个爬树。

And two who can't always get down.

两个不会下来。

Five who loves birds...

五个喜欢鸟......

but not all in the same way.

但不是以同一种方式。

Three who like to hide in boxes.

三个喜欢躲在盒子里。

Four who have a knack with yarn.

四个对玩纱线有诀窍。

Two who lick each other.

两个互相舔舔。

Five who kiss each other.

五个相互亲亲，

And five who sit together in the evening by the fire.

五个到了晚上挨着坐在一起。
