Five little monkeys wake up with the sun.

五只小猴子早早的起床了。

"Today is Mama's birthday!"

“今天是妈妈的生日！”

Five little monkeys tiptoe past Mama sleeping. 

五只小猴子轻轻走过正在睡觉的妈妈。

"Let's bake a birthday cake!"

“我们烤一个生日蛋糕吧！”

"Sh-h-h! Don't wake up Mama!"

“轻点！别吵醒了妈妈！”

One little monkey reads the recipe. 

一只小猴子看着食谱。

"Two cups of flour. Three teaspoons of baking powder."

“两杯面粉，三勺发酵粉。”

"Sift everything together.

“把它们筛到一起。

But don't sneeze! You'll wake up Mama!"

“哦，不要打喷嚏！你会吵醒妈妈的！”

"Sh-h-h! Don't wake up Mama!"

“轻点，不要吵醒妈妈！”

Five little monkeys check on Mama. 

五只小猴子确认妈妈是否醒过来。

"She's still asleep. We can finish making the cake."

“她还睡着，我们可以继续完成蛋糕。”

One little monkey reads the recipe. 

一只小猴子看着食谱。

"Add four eggs."

“放4个鸡蛋。”

Four little monkeys each get some eggs.

四只小猴子每人拿了一些鸡蛋。

"And we need sugar and oil."

“我们需要一些糖和油。”

"Don't spill the oil!"

“别把油给撒了！”

But one little monkey spills ...

但是，一只小猴子还是撒了......油。

...and another little monkey slips and falls.

另一只小猴子滑倒了！

"Sh-h-h! Don't wake up Mama!"

“轻点！别吵醒了妈妈！”

Five little monkeys check on mama. 

五只小猴子确认了妈妈是否醒来。

"She's still asleep. We can finish making the cake."

“她还睡着呢，我们可以继续做完蛋糕。”

One little monkey reads the recipe. 

一只小猴子看着食谱。

"Next, mix everything together and put it into pans. 

“接下来，把所有东西混合到一起然后放进平底锅里。

Then bake the cake in the oven."

放进烤箱里去烤。”

Another little monkey says, 

另一只猴子说

"Now we can go up to our room and make a present for Mama."

“现在我们可以回房间，给妈妈做一个礼物。”

Five little monkeys start to make a present. 

五只小猴子开始做礼物。

"Sh-h-h! Don't wake up Mama!"

“轻点！别吵醒了妈妈！”

One little monkey says, 

一只小猴子说

"Do you smell something burning?"

“你们闻到了什么东西烧起来的味道?”

Five little monkeys race past Mama sleeping.

五只小猴子跑着经过睡着的妈妈。

"Sh-h-h! Don't wake up Mama!"

“轻点！别吵醒了妈妈!”

"Oh no! The cake dripped all over."

“哦，不好了！蛋糕全流出来了！”

"Turn off the oven!"

“关掉烤箱！”

"Save the cake!"

“快把蛋糕拿出来！”

"Sh-h-h! Don't wake up Mama!"

“轻点！别吵醒了妈妈！”

"Look! Here comes the fire engine!" Says one little monkey. 

“哪着火了？”消防员叫道！

"Sh-h-h! Don't wake up Mama!" Says another little monkey. 

“轻点！别吵醒了妈妈！”另一只小猴子说。

"Where's the fire?" Shouts a fireman. 

“哪着火了？”消防员叫道！

"It's not a fire!" Sniffs one little monkey. 

“不是着火了”一只小猴子擤擤鼻子说，

"We ruined Mama's birthday cake."

“我们毁了妈妈的生日蛋糕。”

"Wait!" says another little monkey. 

“等等”一只小猴子说。

"This cake doesn't taste TOO bad."

“这个蛋糕尝起来也没有那么糟糕！”

"Frosting might help," says the other fireman.

“霜糖也许能使它美味。”其他的消防员们说。

Five little monkeys and two firemen frost the cake. 

五只小猴子和两个消防员把霜糖抹在蛋糕上。

"Now we can wake up Mama!"

“现在，我们可以叫醒妈妈了。”

Five little monkeys and two firemen sing to Mama very, very, very loudly.

五只小猴子和两个消防员大声的在妈妈旁边唱生日歌。

And Mama wakes up! 

妈妈醒了！

"What a wonderful surprise," she says.

“哇！这真是一个大惊喜！”妈妈说。

"But my birthday is tomorrow!"

“可是，我的生日是在明天啊！”

"Oh no!" say five little monkeys. 

很快就睡着了。

"But can we still have birthday cake for breakfast?"

“哦，不！那我们可以拿这个生日蛋糕当作早餐吗？”五只小猴子说。

"Why not?" says Mama.

“为什么不可以？”妈妈说。

Five little monkeys, two firemen, and Mama 

五只小猴子，两个消防员和妈妈

think the birthday cake is delicious. 

都认为蛋糕很好吃。

One little monkey whispers, 

一只小猴子偷偷说

"We can bake another cake tomorrow."

“我们可以明天再做一个蛋糕给妈妈！”

Another little monkey says, "Sh-h-h! Don’t tell Mama!"

“小点声，不要让妈妈听见了！”另一只小猴子说。
