Trim- not a full haircut, but just a shortening of your current hair in the same style. 修一修

Style- the shape your hair is cut into 发型

Bangs- shorter hair that covers your eye brows 刘海

Curl- to make your hair form in circles 卷，烫卷

Sideburns- The short hair in front of a mans ears. 连鬓胡子，鬓脚

Layering- To make your hair seem like it has no ends. 层次

scissors- A tool used to cut hair 剪刀

Highlights- Colors in your hair 挑染

Extensions- used to make your hair longer in certain spots. 接发
