Hongkong Post will issue a set of special stamps themed on characters from Louis Cha's novels on Dec 6. Cha began weaving his martial arts world under the pen name Jin Yong in 1955 and by 1972 he had written 15 immensely popular novels. The release of the special stamps commemorates Cha's extraordinary life and timeless work.
香港邮政将于12月6日发行一套以查良镛小说人物为主题的特别邮票。查良镛1955年开始以"金庸"为笔名编织他的武侠世界，至1972年共创作了15部脍炙人口的小说。这套特别邮票的发行是为了向金庸的非凡一生和不朽巨著致敬。

He died at the age of 94 on Oct 30th. The stamps feature unforgettable characters from seven of his well-known novels. The characters are drawn by renowned comic artist Lee Chi-ching using traditional Chinese painting techniques. Hongkong Post will also launch the first stamp booklet with 30 stamps featuring Zhang Wuji, the protagonist of "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber", practicing tai chi.
10月30日，查良镛逝世，享年94岁。邮票展现的是7部家喻户晓的金庸小说中令人难忘的人物，由著名漫画家李志清以国画手法绘制。香港邮政还将首次发行内附30枚邮票的邮票小册子，邮票呈现的是《倚天屠龙记》的主人公张无忌打太极拳的画面。

People can flip the booklet's pages quickly or scan the QR code on the back cover to see the character in action. Official first day covers will go on sale at all post offices in Hong Kong from Nov 22.

It seems donning a comedy moustache and glasses isn't enough for some celebrities looking to evade unwanted attention. Zayn Malik appears to have confirmed the suspicion that Taylor Swift is smuggled in a suitcase to avoid detection. In an interview with British Vogue, the former One Direction singer said Taylor was "always traveling around in a suitcase".

Rumors about Taylor's transportation were sparked last year after security guards were pictured carrying a large case in and out of her home. The photo agency that snapped the picture claimed Swift was hiding inside to avoid press during her feud with Kim and Kanye Kardashian - but later withdrew the claim.

Italian fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana (D&G) has been accused of racism over its new promotional videos. In the clips, a female Asian model in a glitzy red Dolce & Gabbana dress uses chopsticks to eat pizza and other Italian foods. They were part of a campaign named "DG Loves China" released ahead of the fashion house's big show in Shanghai.
近日，意大利时尚品牌杜嘉班纳(D&G)的最新宣传片被指有种族歧视的嫌疑。宣传片发布于D&G上海大型时装秀之前，是"DG爱中国"活动的一部分。其内容是一位身穿红色D&G亮片礼服的亚裔女模特用筷子吃披萨等意大利食物。

However, some Chinese netizens complained that the videos were insensitive, in part because the model, with an unmistakably Chinese-looking face, appeared so awkward eating Western food with chopsticks. Screenshots put online of a chat on Instagram between a netizen and someone using the personal account of Stefano Gabbana, one of the brand's co-founders, made things worse, in which Gabbana allegedly made insulting references toward China and Chinese people.

Indignation arose among Chinese netizens, with many calling for the D&G Shanghai show to be canceled. A-list celebrities such as Chen Kun, Huang Xiaoming and Li Bingbing said they would not attend. The brand canceled the show hours before it was scheduled to get underway on Wednesday evening. Major Chinese e-commerce platforms have removed all products under the brand.
国内网友纷纷对此表示愤怒，很多人呼吁取消D&G上海时装秀。陈坤、黄晓明、李冰冰等一线明星均表示不会出席这场秀。最终，原定于21日晚举行的D&G时装秀在开场前几小时被取消。中国主要电商平台均已下架D&G所有产品。

University fees for students outside of the EU, which would include Brits after Brexit, are set to shoot up by as much as 16 times the current cost, the French prime minister has announced. At the moment a bachelor's degree costs 170 euros per year while a master's costs 243 euros and a PhD costs 380 euros, but once the change is introduced these fees will rise to 2,770 euros for a bachelor's degree and 3,770 euros for the two higher qualifications.

French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said that at the moment a "wealthy foreign student pays the same tuition fees as a poor French student whose parents have lived, worked and paid taxes in France for years". The situation is "absurd" and "unfair", he said.
