维密时装秀今年将停办

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, an annual spectacular female lingerie show, will no longer be available on network television starting from this year, ending a nearly two-decade run. 
自今年起，一年一度的女士内衣秀大赏——"维多利亚的秘密时装秀"将不再在网络电视上播出，举办了近20年的维密秀将停办。

The decision was revealed in a memo sent to employees by Leslie Wexner, CEO of L Brands, Victoria's Secret's parent company, as he said network TV is not the "right fit" for the fashion show. The chief executive said his company will develop a new kind of event in 2019 and in the following years to replace the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. 
维密母公司L Brands集团首席执行官莱斯利•维克斯纳在向员工发布的公司备忘录中透露了这一决定。维克斯纳表示，网络电视已经不再适合时装秀，今明两年公司将创造一种新的活动形式来替代维密时装秀。

The news comes after the lingerie retailer had a record low 3.3 million viewership last year, down from 9.7 million viewers in 2013.

去年维密秀收视人数为330万，创历史新低，较2013年的970万下降明显。

新版50澳元纸币印错字

Millions of A$50 banknotes in Australia have an embarrassing typographical error that was overlooked by the country's central bank before they were printed and circulated. 
由于澳大利亚央行在纸币印刷和流通前的疏忽，数千万张面值50澳元(约合238元人民币)的纸币上出现了一个令人尴尬的印刷错误。

The goof first became known when a listener on radio outlet Triple M sent the station a magnified photo of the Reserve Bank of Australia's (RBA) new A$50 note highlighting the word "responsibility" misspelt as "responsibilty" three times. 
电台节目《三倍M》的一位听众首先发现这个错误后，向电台发送了一张新版50澳元纸币放大照。照片显示，英文单词responsibility(责任)被拼成了responsibilty，且错误出现了三次。

But the RBA has no intention of withdrawing or recalling the notes from circulation. The error will be corrected in the next print run, it said. 
但发行纸币的澳大利亚储备银行无意回收或召回这些纸币，仅表示下次印刷时会更正这一错误。

32名考生报考资格取消

Shenzhen education authorities announced they would disqualify 32 students for taking this year's National College Entrance Exam in the city after they were found to be "gaokao immigrants". According to a notice published on the official website of Shenzhen's education bureau on Sunday, 32 students from Shenzhen Fuyuan School used dishonest means to gain qualification for taking the college entrance exam in South China's Guangdong province in the coming June. 
深圳市教育局12日在其官网发布通报，宣布取消32名"高考移民"在深圳市的高考报名资格。通报称，经查深圳市富源学校32名考生弄虚作假获取了2019年广东省高考报考资格。

Authorities will revoke their qualification to participate in the exam. Shenzhen Fuyuan School is also required to severely punish those responsible and will have its high school enrollment quota cut by half in 2019. 
对上述考生，取消其在深圳市的高考报名资格，责成深圳市富源学校对责任人进行严肃处理，核减该校2019年高中招生计划的50%。

Shenzhen Fuyuan School, a private school established in 1999, raised many eyebrows after its third-grade students performed extraordinarily well at a mock gaokao. Among the top 10 students in the mock exam, six came from Shenzhen Fuyuan School. Some parents suspected that gaokao immigrants might be involved.
深圳市富源学校是一所成立于1999年的民办学校，在深圳市高三学生的一次模考中，该校成绩异常出色，全市排名前10的学生里富源学校占了6名。成绩一出家长群炸开了锅，有家长质疑富源中学引进了"高考移民"。

Beijing's new airport saw four passenger planes completing test flights Monday morning. Air China, China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines respectively dispatched flagship models Boeing 747-8, Airbus 350-900 and A380. Meanwhile, Xiamen Airlines sent a Boeing 787-9 to take part in the test flights. 
13日上午，北京大兴国际机场迎来真机试飞，4架客机全部成功落地。国航、东航、南航分别安排各自旗舰机型波音B747-8、空客A350-900、以及空客A380试飞新机场，厦航也派出一架波音B787-9参加试飞。

The planes landed smoothly at Beijing Daxing International Airport. Beijing Daxing International Airport is scheduled to be completed June 30 and open Sept 30. It aims to meet the country's surging air service demands and relieve the flight pressure at Beijing Capital International Airport. 
所有试飞飞机均平稳降落北京大兴国际机场。北京大兴国际机场计划于今年6月30日竣工，9月30日通航。大兴机场的修建是为了满足国内日益增长的旅客需求，替北京首都国际机场分流。

The new airport, located at the junction of Beijing's Daxing district and Langfang, a city in neighboring Hebei province, is expected to handle 45 million passengers annually by 2021 and 72 million by 2025.
新机场坐落在北京大兴区以及河北廊坊市的交界处，预计2021年旅客吞吐量将达4500万人次，2025年旅客吞吐量将达7200万人次。
