The World Cup may have only just started but Nigeria has already won - for being the most stylish team in Russia. It started with the fan frenzy to buy the Nigeria Nike-designed World Cup kit, which sold out globally on the day it was released, with queues snaking round the block outside the Nike store on London's Regent Street.

Fans are talking about their stunning white and green ensemble set off with a matching hat, worn at a jaunty angle. Nigeria's Nike-designed kit was voted the best of the World Cup in several polls.

International men's magazine GQ also voted the Super Eagles strip top the best of all the 32 teams in Russia. Design director Peter Hopkins told Fader magazine that the Nigerian team's confidence inspired him in his designs for the kit, which has a bold neon green pattern that echoes the pattern of eagle wing feathers.

New Zealand to tax tourists

From late next year, international visitors heading to New Zealand will pay between NZ$25 and NZ$35 to get into the country, the government announced on Friday. However, Australian citizens and permanent residents, people from Pacific Islands Forum countries and children under two will be exempt. 

新西兰政府15日宣布，从明年下半年起，来新西兰旅游的外国游客入境将需缴纳25到35新西兰元(合111到156元人民币)的税。不过，澳大利亚公民和永久居民、太平洋岛国论坛成员国国民和两岁以内幼童可以免交新税。

Since April last year, about 3.8 million tourists visited New Zealand, a country with a population of about 4.7 million. The conservation minister, Eugenie Sage, said she hoped visitors will understand. 

到四月份为止，今年已有约380万外国游客来新西兰旅游，新西兰本国人口约为470万。新西兰环保部部长尤金妮娅•塞吉说，她希望游客能够理解。

"It's only fair that they make a small contribution so that we can help provide the infrastructure they need and better protect the natural places they enjoy," she said. The tax is expected to raise up to NZ$80m in the first year, with the money to be split between tourism infrastructure and conservation funding.

The nasal cycle happens, according to the US National Library of Medicine, several times during the day.

Russian creates ginseng chocolate
俄研制营养人参巧克力

A postgraduate student from Russia's Far Eastern Federal University, Maya Razgonova, has created a chocolate highly enriched with imaginatively derived ginseng extract. 
俄罗斯远东联邦大学名叫迈娅•拉兹戈诺娃的研究生近日制出一种富含人参提取物的巧克力。

This healthy sweet's creator used a "supercritical extraction" technology with the help of highly pressurized carbon dioxide gas to maximally preserve ginseng's biologically active substances within chocolate. 
这款健康甜品的创作者使用超临界萃取的技术，通过高度加压的二氧化碳气体，使人参里的生物活性物质能在巧克力里最大程度地得以保留。

The ginseng used is a wild form of the plant found in Primorsky Krai. A single tile of the chocolate contains a daily dose of ginsenosides and other nutrients with immune-stimulant, antioxidant and energy-boosting effects. 
该巧克力所使用的是滨海边疆区的野生人参。一块巧克力中含有一天所需人参皂苷的剂量及其它一些具有免疫激活物质、抗氧化和补充能量效果的营养素。

The chocolate also includes pine nuts and an edible gold leaf. According to the university, work on the chocolate is being finalized, and the healthy sweet may eventually become one of Primosky Krai's distinctive brands. 
这种巧克力中还含有松仁以及一片可食用的金叶子。远东联邦大学表示，即将完成这款巧克力，这一健康甜品最终可能会成为滨海边疆区的特色招牌之一。
