Lesson 4 A Visit to Lanzhou

第4课 参观兰州

The group takes a train to Lanzhou.

团队乘火车去兰州 。

Then they go to the hotel.

Later, they go for a walk along the Yellow River.

Let's go down this street and turn left at the traffic lights.

This road will lead us to the Yellow River.

Look! A bridge!

This is the Lanzhou Zhongshan Bridge.

这是兰州中山桥。

It was the first bridge over the Yellow River.

The Silk Road crossed the Yellow River in Lanzhou.

丝绸之路在兰州横跨黄河。

Wow, the Yellow River is so wide!

喔，黄河可真宽！

Yes. It's wide and long.

是的。它又宽又长。

The Yellow River is about 5400 kilometres long.

黄河大约有5400千米长。

We call it the Mother River.

我们把它叫做母亲河

Look! A statue beside the Yellow River!

看！黄河旁边有一座雕像！

A mother with a baby!

Oh, that's the Mother River Statue.
