Xiaomeng It's People studio where prominent voices from China and around the world share their insights, I'm xiaomeng in Beijing, today we're highly honored to have miss Hanxue in our studio, would you please say hi to the audience of people.
Cecilia Hanxue: yeah it is my honor to be here , and hello everyone I am Cecilia.
Xiaomeng Hello Cecilia many people used to think that your image was cold and elegance, and when you were dubbing in the sound people found you cool and bossing glasses and there when you were imitating the voices of cartoon characters, it was actually quite cute and funny, so how do you define yourself.
Cecilia Hanxue: Actually not so girly , because you know me ,well you found there might be a little boy inside of my heart, Because usually my hobbies, they're not very girly ones I don't like fancy closest, light bags or or shoes, the things I like there like a D. I. Y. things, or science and high technology, sometimes i just so curious about anything I don't know, I always wanted to ask who what and why, so for me,I just want to deliver a message who I really am or what I really like, I just want to show people the real Cecilia.
Xiaomeng And many people liked your dumping of sponge Bob and inside out in the TV show the sound because you were imitating the character so vividly.
Cecilia Hanxue: You know that for an actor or actress sometimes dialogue is part of your performance, I think it's the fundamental skills.
Cecilia Hanxue: and because I was studying English, so to improve my oral speaking, I downloaded an App. it's a dubbing app, so I tried a lot of cartoons and like film clips on that, I tried to mimic those people’s voice, their tones, so that's why you can hear sbodge sound the inside out.
Xiaomeng How long did you practice learning English each day.
Cecilia Hanxue: It's about two to four hours every day I'll break of for the past three and a half years, yeah I spent a lot of time on that and there's no break, my teacher only he got very good mood or sometimes I think he got a date.
Xiaomeng So he'll give you a break.
Cecilia Hanxue: A break other time no matter you got a fever or you are really busy or you were in very bad mood there is no excuse you still have to finish your tasks.
Xiaomeng Learning English actually play a part in your acting, does it help your acting career.
Cecilia Hanxue: I think.You can’t say it has some direct influence in my career because I haven't go to Hollywood yeah.
Cecilia Hanxue: But I think it for long term it in must be helpful, if you want to be a good actor and actress, you want to play different roles I think you have to gain a lot of knowledge is an experience, so life is limited, sometimes the information is from second hand, it so is just from books or other things you learn or you saw.
Xiaomeng And you also said you actually didn't want to go to Hollywood when you first started learning English that everyone I think has certain ambitions do you think that you will consider more bigger plans.
Cecilia Hanxue: I can’t say I don't want to go that, because everyone they they always want to be better, but the thing i am not the one who always dream bigger or day dreaming I am a positive pessimist, each time when i start going to start a new saying I I always thought about what’s the consequence.So when i was preparing,I started doing that and I will Pay one hundred percent focus and effort on that, so that's the way I am doing and I just I said fortune favors to those who get ready for that, so I have to get ready for that.
Cecilia Hanxue: So maybe one day if I was lucky enough I I can have much more greater opportunities.
Xiaomeng Good luck on that.
Cecilia Hanxue: Thank you.
Xiaomeng And besides learning English I know you also have many distinctive hobbies, like you have just mentioned you like technology,and high technological products, but for ordinary people,they always think that technology lovers are like nerds.How long were you in the Big Bang theory and what are you just so dawn on the technology.
Cecilia Hanxue: Earn because if you know me well I'm I'm a single person and I think another reason is a is a genetic reason, because my father he's an engineer and to my first kindergarden was just in his factory, so I think when I was age two or three, I got used to to see and talk with those uncles who looks likes geeks every day, and I still remembered the paper I painted pictures are all drafts. painted with some machines pictures with engines I think.
Cecilia Hanxue: Those things might plant at a tiny seed in my heart so that.Maybe the reason why in the feature I like technology and science and those high technology products.
Xiaomeng so there’s a child influence.And the slogan of the Big Bang theory is actually smart is the new sexy. Do you think that the IT guys in the shows are sexy and attractive to you because sometimes we think they are hard to communicate and understand.
Cecilia Hanxue: I am looking for someone who is wisdom and really charming in mind so I think.For me those guys are are really attractive.
Xiaomeng And you actually topped the cultural and academic task to when you enter the Shanghai theatre academy to perform at TV dramas at school you actually quick studies.Do you think that of leaving school early actually influenced your life.
Cecilia Hanxue: For me I never regret because there are many ways to the ending point.
Cecilia Hanxue: My life is not finished yet.I think in the future as they must be more potential so who knows what will happen ,so just be positive. And the another most important thing is I think quit from school doesn't equal to stop learning.Actually I even spend more time on the study when I quit school, so for me learning I treat it as the entire life mission.
Xiaomeng And in your career planning you actually have different identities as an actress, singer TV producer and a good English speaker, which kind of identities makes you more most the satisfying and rewarding.
Cecilia Hanxue: there's no most, there’re all equal. Because you are always shifting your characters among those characters that will always make you exciting.
Xiaomeng So good luck with every different character and I hope to see more of your TV dramas and shows coming this year and in the future.
Cecilia Hanxue: Yeah my musico new project.
