I don't think in this world there are any jobs that don't require energy. The labor market is highly competitive nowadays, so no matter which company you are in, you must spare no efforts to create value for the company. Companies don't pay for idle staffs. Every penny a company spends is an investment wanting reward. Besides, if an employee is not energetic, the superiors of the company might be concerned that this kind of attitude gets contagious and passed onto other employees. They will sack the person immediately.

staff用复数吗？我以为它是个集合名词，只有单数

两个意思，一个是全体员工，一个是员工个体。表示全体员工的时候它是复数，表示个体的时候，就是单数。牛津词典里也有解释，可以翻翻。
