This is the story of a young boy. His name was Tom Swayer. Tom lived with his aunt Polly in a small town. Aunt Polly was a good woman. She loved Tom and only wanted good for him. But Tom was a naughty boy.

这是一个小男孩的故事。他的名字叫汤姆·索亚。汤姆和他的波莉姨妈住在一个小镇上。波莉姨妈是个好女人。她爱汤姆，只想为他好。但汤姆是个淘气的孩子。

Tom, wake up. You are getting late for school. Ah, don't you know, no school today. Mr. Snuggles lost his father. Oh, my, is that so. Poor Mr. Snuggles. Eh, hello? Mr. Snuggles? Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your father. May his soul... Eh what. Gone for a walk. Oh. that's great. It's good for his health. In fact I say we all must go for walks. Eh... OK Mr. Snuggles. It is such a beautiful day. Who wants to go to school in such a good weather. It would be so easy if there was no aunt Polly to stop me from doing anything... I know. I will go play with Huck and go home later. Aunt Polly would never find out that I missed school.
