Movie Review: Spider-Man: Far from Home 英雄远征


The final film in Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe （MCU） is a terrific Spider-man film that really captures the spirit of earlier Spider-man comics while at the same time continuing the storyline from the last film, “Avengers: Endgame”.


After the events of Endgame, Peter Parker （Tom Holland） goes on a trip to Europe with his classmates, but he can’t escape Nick Fury （Samuel L. Jackson） who recruits him to fight some new monsters raging havoc over Europe. They want him to team-up with Quentin Beck （aka Mysterio） （Jake Gyllenhaal） but Peter just wants to have fun with his friends, especially MJ （Zendaya）.


Of course, best laid plans go astray and Peter eventually must face the fact that he can’t avoid who he is - Spider-man.


Great action, great acting （especially Gyllenhaal） and some incredible hallution scenes that really remind me of the early Spider-man comics. 


Maybe my favorite live action Spidey movie of all time. Do not miss the final two end credit scenes. They will change how you see and think about this film.
