Zhuangzi and Huizi roamed the bridge over Hao River.
Observing the fish in the river, Zhuangzi said to Huizi, "The fish are swimming leisurely and cosily; how happy they are!"
At that, Huizi asked at once, "You're not a fish and how can you tell they are happy?"
Zhuangzi retorted immediately: "You are not me and how can you tell I don't know they're happy?"
Huizi argued, "Yes, I'm not you, and nor I can tell; you are not a fish, and you don't either. That's all."
Zhuangzi urged, "Please get back to your original question; you asked 'How can you tell the fish are happy?', which indicates
that you knew I knew. I knew it on the bridge of Hao River."
