I would love to live in Paris. I have always said this! Since I went on a trip there with some friends a few years ago, I’ve always been enchanted by Paris.
The centre of Paris reminds me of a lot of old romantic movies I used to watch when I was in college. The architecture is wonderful, the streets, the cafes… the restaurants. I have a really romantic feeling whenever I think about Paris. I understand that places outside of the centre can be quite run-down and not so safe, so maybe the reality of living there might not be as wonderful as my idea of it. But ifI could afford to live and work in the centre of Paris, then I’d love to live there.
There are also some incredible museums there, art museums, history museums, all sorts. I am a big fan of the European café culture, you see, so I enjoy the idea of sitting outside a café on the street, drinking a strong French coffee, eating a croissant or other delicate morning pastry and watching the world go by, the people walking to work, the pigeons flying around the fountains, and so on. I think it might be possible to achieve my dream if I can study hard and pass my French exam, then go on to do a year study in a university there. I’d love to do that, because I think there is a great chance that with Chinese and French languages skills, I would be able to find a really good job. Not many people can speak and read and write both Chinese and French, so I think my dream is possibly achievable.
Finally, regarding to Who I would live with, and that’s an interesting question, because to be honest, I think I would like to live in Paris, alone.
