Ramon Artagaveytia, 72 years old, is traveling back to Uruguay after visiting family in Europe.

He has not been on a ship at sea, since he survived the horrific burning and sinking of the SS America, in 1871.

He still suffers from frequent nightmares, and is very uneasy at sea.

He was originally booked to travel on an older ship, the RMS Oceanic,

He's leaving Britain is a momentous, but bitter-sweet moment,

He wrote to his parents on board:
