A report in a Spanish newspaper says, Spanish authorities had uncovered plans for a terrorist attack on Ney York's Grand Central Station
"El Mundo"says that while investigating last year's Madrid train bombings, investigators found a sketch and computer data of Grand Central at a suspect's home. US and Spanish officials are downplaying the report, saying it's not even clear whether the sketch depicts Grand Central.
Insurgents carried out the single most deadly attack in Iraq since the war began. On Monday a suicide car combing killed at least 125 people at a police recruiting center south of Baghdad. More than 150 others were injured. Iraqi officials say the violence will not derail the political development taking place in Iraqi including the formation of a new government.
