I am a person who hates working out in my daily life, but that outdoor activity kind of changes my mentality. Last month, my best friend Grace, who is a very energetic girl, and I travelled to Changsha, which is a great city in the middle of China. Changsha has a famous mountain called Yuelu mountain. It is not high and not very difficult for people to climb, but it is still a challenge for a person who never does exercise, like me. At first, I actually didn’t want to start the trip at all.

I told grace that let’s forget this trip and go to other attractions instead. Grace, however, encouraged me again and again, telling me that I would regret it if I did not go. Thus the journey began. Undoubtedly in the middle of the trip, I was so tired that I grabbed three bottles of water, but I was still sweating. I was exhausted and wanted to take the cable car instead. Grace, again, rejected my suggestion, saying that the top of the mountain was very close and was only a ten-minute walk.

Ten minutes after ten minutes, I couldn’t remember how many ten minutes passed, but inspired by Grace’s energy, I managed to arrive at the top of the mountain on my own. I have to say Grace was right, the scenery at the top was so great, and it was totally worth it to spend so much energy to get there to see the view. And because I finished the trip all by myself, the sense of achievement made the view even more attractive. After this outdoor activity, now sometimes I would also try some easy exercise, rather than spending all day at home because I realize that interesting things always happen outside my tiny room.
