“Menghai Spring” Unfermented Pu’er Tea Cake

– A product delivering the purest tinges of Menghai’s early spring before Qingming Festival

The implications of Menghai Spring are to deliver the tinges of Menghai’s spring through Menghai tea. Touchun Tea refers to tea leaves processed from buds and tender leaves that sprout earliest on the tea trees after winter. In the second lunar month, when most of China’s tea-growing regions are just beginning to see the thawing of snow and ice, Menghai’s climate has already grown warm and new tea buds begin to emerge on the branches of tea trees. With the increase of rainy and dewy days, tea trees after a winter’s hibernation have absorbed abundant nutrients, strengthening the emerald green tea leaves and buds and enriching them with vitamins and amino acids. Since its debut in 2005, this product has been popular with consumers and has won Internationally Famous Tea Gold Award.

Product features:

This product is a mixture of thin, tender leaves and green, strong leaves that sprout in early spring in Menghai. The tea cake is pressed tight, with tea leaves evenly distributed on the surface and showing silver fuzz. Its soup appears yellowish and transparent, giving off a fragrance of tea fuzz mingled with aromas of flowers and fruits. It tastes mellow and fresh, and the brewed tea leaves are soft and tender.
