A long-forgotten and rare Chinese imperial vase discovered in the attic of a family home in France was sold for 16.2 million euros at Sotheby's in Paris on Tuesday. 
12日，一只稀有的中国古代花瓶在巴黎苏富比拍卖行以1620万欧元的价格落锤，这只长期被遗忘的花瓶是在一个法国家庭的阁楼里发现的。

The sale was more than 30 times the estimate as experts set a guide price for the vase decorated with deer and cranes at 500,000 euros. 
该花瓶饰有梅花鹿和丹顶鹤的图案，专家建议预估价50万欧元，最终的拍卖价是估价的30多倍。

Reuters reported that the buyer was Asian but the auction house did not wish to reveal the name or nationality.

The amount is the highest ever recorded for Chinese porcelain by the auction house in Paris.

Sotheby's said the vase is the only known example of its kind and it was produced by the Jingdezhen workshops for the magnificent courts of the Qianlong Emperor (1735-1796).

Scientists have discovered the body may absorb more of the orange's antioxidants from defrosted juice than it does from fresh or pasteurized juice.

When orange juice is frozen and thawed out, health-giving elements of the juice are broken down into smaller particles which are easier for the intestines to soak up.

These particles, called carotenoids, are thought to have cancer-fighting properties, can be converted to vitamin A, and have anti-inflammatory and immune system benefits which may help to prevent heart disease.

After a perilous journey that captured the attention of thousands, a brave raccoon made it to the top of a Minnesota skyscraper. The raccoon climbed a 25-story tower and turned into an internet celebrity overnight. The saga started Monday, when the animal was spotted in a shallow recess of a wall on a Town Square building. 

经过一趟吸引上千人注意的危险旅程后，一只勇敢的浣熊登上了明尼苏达州一座摩天大楼的楼顶。这只爬上25层塔楼的浣熊一夜之间成了网红。该事件始于当地时间11日，当时有人发现这只浣熊被困在一个城镇广场建筑的浅壁凹处。

A maintenance crew attempted to help the raccoon by offering it a ladder. That didn't work - it scared the animal to a nearby office tower, where it began its death-defying ascent.

Tuesday afternoon, local coverage of the climb trended on Twitter with #mprraccoon. As of Tuesday evening, the raccoon had climbed to the 23rd floor.

Around 2:30 am Wednesday, live feeds showed the raccoon reached the roof. A Twitter account following the frightened raccoon's journey declared "I made it!" for the raccoon.

The raccoon was captured in a live trap, a law firm occupying the top floor of the building told a reporter. Rescuers plan to release the raccoon to safety, hopefully far away from any tall buildings.

Ivana Trump, President Trump's first wife, is promoting a diet as part of her campaign to fight adult obesity in the US. Ivana was at the Plaza Hotel on Tuesday and she had come to promote a diet that promises followers they can "eat pasta, cookies and lose weight".
