Judge Dee(630-700) was a politician in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). At the age of -47year-old, within a year during his tenure as an assistant officer in Dali (theposition to be in charge of investigating legal cases), he handed down thejudgment to over 17 thousand legal cases and all the relatives of the prosecutedexpressed their willingness to comply with the verdict.
