runs

through

the town,

Upstairs and

downstairs

in his

night-gown,

Rapping at the window,

crying through the lock,

Are the children all in bed,

for now it’s eight o’clock?

小威力温奇，

在城里跑来跑去，

穿着睡袍上楼来、下楼去，

用力敲窗户；

对着锁孔叫，

小朋友都上床了吗？
