All major UK airports must introduce 3D baggage screening equipment before the end of 2022, the government says. The technology will boost security, speed up pre-boarding checks, and could end the restrictions on travelling with liquids and laptops. 

英国政府表示，该国所有主要机场必须在2022年年底前引进3D行李扫描仪。这一新科技将提升机场安检、加快登机检查速度，并有望终结对登机行李内液体和笔记本电脑的限制。

The equipment, similar to CT scanners used in hospitals, is already being installed at London's Heathrow Airport, which staff can zoom in to and rotate for inspection.
这种设备类似医院用的计算机断层扫描仪，目前已在伦敦希斯罗机场架设完成，安检人员还可放大、旋转影像。

Currently, passengers taking liquid in their cabin baggage are restricted to containers holding no more than 100ml, which must be shown to security staff in a single, transparent, resealable bag of about 20cm x 20cm.
根据现行措施，旅客随身行李内所携带的装有液体的容器体积不得超过100毫升，且必须装在长宽皆为20厘米的单个透明可重封袋子内供安检人员检查。

French President Emmanuel Macron has lashed out at Brazil's Jair Bolsonaro for endorsing "rude" remarks about his wife. A supporter of the Brazilian president mocked Macron's wife, Brigitte, 66, in a Facebook post. The post contained a photo contrasting the French first lady's appearance with that of Bolsonaro's wife, Michelle Bolsonaro, 37. 
巴西总统博索纳罗因在网友发布的关于法国第一夫人的无礼评论下留言，遭到了法国总统马克龙的猛烈抨击。一名博索纳罗的支持者在脸书上发表了一则嘲讽马克龙妻子布丽吉特的帖子，该帖包含一张将66岁的布丽吉特与博索纳罗37岁的妻子米歇尔进行容貌对比的照片。

"Now you understand why Macron is persecuting Bolsonaro?" it reads. In response to the comment, Bolsonaro wrote (in Portuguese): "Do not humiliate (him)... man, ha ha." Asked about Bolsonaro's remarks, Macron said it was "extraordinarily rude" and "sad". 
还配文称："现在你知道马克龙为什么要找博索纳罗的麻烦了吧？"博索纳罗则跟帖回应称(用葡萄牙语)："别让他难堪啦，哈哈。"马克龙被问及此事时回应称，博索纳罗这一言论"极其粗鲁"且"悲哀"。

"He said very disrespectful things about my wife. I have great respect for the Brazilian people and can only hope they soon have a president who is up to the job," Macron said at a news conference at the G7 summit in Biarritz on Monday.

New rules for climbers
尼泊尔出台攀珠峰新规

All climbers seeking a permit for Qomolangma must have prior high altitude mountaineering experience and demonstrable training, a high-level commission for the Nepalese government has ruled. The recommendation was issued by the body charged with looking at the issue of high-altitude safety after one of the deadliest seasons in recent years on Qomolangma. 
尼泊尔政府内一个高级委员会规定，凡是想获准攀登珠穆朗玛峰的人，必须有高海拔登山经历并受过硬核的培训。在珠峰上出现了近年来最致命的高海拔安全问题后，负责调查这一问题的机构发布了上述建议。

It said that those hoping to climb Qomolangma must have climbed at least one Nepalese peak of more than 6,500-metres before getting a permit. Climbers must also submit a certificate of good health and physical fitness and be accompanied by a trained Nepalese guide. 
委员会称，想攀登珠穆朗玛峰的人必须至少攀登过一座海拔6500米以上的尼泊尔山峰才能得到登山许可。登山者还必须提交健康和体能证明，并由受过训练的尼泊尔导游陪同。

Eleven climbers were killed or went missing on the 8,850-metre mountain in May, nine on the Nepalese side and two on the Tibetan side. Some veteran guiding companies had long warned of the dangerous consequences of inexperience and crowds on the summit slopes.

China's new pilot FTZs
6个新设自贸试验区落地

China on Monday announced a master plan for six new pilot free trade zones (FTZs) in a strategic move to press ahead with reform and opening up in the new era. The new pilot FTZs will be located in the six provincial regions of Shandong, Jiangsu, Guangxi, Hebei, Yunnan and Heilongjiang, according to the plan released by the State Council. 
26日，我国公布6个新设自由贸易试验区的总体方案，作为新时代推进改革开放的一项战略举措。根据国务院印发的方案，新一批自贸试验区位于山东、江苏、广西、河北、云南、黑龙江这六个省级区域。

This will bring the total number of the country's pilot FTZs to 18, which serve as pioneers of the country's reform and opening up as they test new styles of foreign investment management, trade facilitation and transformation of government functions to better integrate the economy with international practices. 
至此，中国的自贸试验区数量增至18个。自由贸易试验区是我国改革开放的先锋，是新型外商投资管理、贸易便利化以及政府职能转变的试验田，让我国的经济更好地与国际惯例接轨。

The six new pilot FTZs will be tasked with differentiated reform try-outs, according to the plan. For example, development of the marine economy is one of the focuses for the pilot FTZ in Shandong, a coastal province, while building a new type of industrial base is part of the plan for Hebei, which neighbors Beijing and Tianjin.
根据方案，6个新设自贸试验区的改革试行措施各不相同。譬如，发展海洋经济是沿海省份山东的一个重点目标，而建设新型工业化基地是毗邻北京、天津的省份河北的部分规划。
