复活节快乐，小怪物 Happy Easter, Little Critter 

It's Easter morning.

I bet the Easter Bunny has already come.

这是复活节的早晨。

我打赌复活节兔子已经来啦。

I'll quietly tiptoe downstairs…and find all the Easter goodies before anyone else wakes up.

我会悄悄地踮着脚下楼……然后在其他人起床之前，找到所有的复活节糖果。

But, as usual, my little sister is up before me.

但是，像平时一样，我妹妹比我先起床。

I got a toy egg that you can look into a wind-up bunny, some candy chickens, a bunch of chocolate eggs, and millions of jelly beans.

我找到了一个玩具蛋， 有开口可以往里看，一只发条兔子，一些小鸡糖果，一篮子巧克力蛋，还有几百万个糖豆。

The Easter Bunny gave my little sister the same things.

复活节兔子给我妹妹的是一样的西。

Dad says that's so we won't argue.

Mom says we can't eat any of it until after breakfast.

爸爸说，因为这样我们就不会吵架了。

After breakfast, we have to get dressed for church.

早餐后，我们都得穿好盛装去教堂。

Dad starts the car, and we all get in.

爸爸启动了汽车，我们都上了车。

My little sister likes to get all dressed up, but I don't.

我妹妹喜欢盛装打扮，但是我并不喜欢。

At church, I can't see anything because everyone is wearing funny hats.

在教堂里，我什么也看不见，因为每个人都带着滑稽的帽子。

After church, all the kids dye Easter eggs.

去完教堂，所有的孩子都去染色和装饰复活节彩蛋。

I think my eggs are the best.

我想我的彩蛋是最棒的。

While the eggs dry we have a big picnic lunch.

在等待彩蛋晾干的时候，我们加了一场盛大的野餐会。(我和妹妹领到了热狗和饮料）

Then our parents hide the eggs in the field. We're not supposed to peek.

然后爸爸妈妈们把彩蛋藏在地里。我们小孩儿不能偷看。

Next, we all line up...and run into the field to find the eggs.

接着，我们全都排好队……然后跑到地里去找彩蛋。

Sometimes too many kids find the same egg.

有时候太多孩子找到了同一颗蛋。

Sometimes you walk right by an egg, and someone else finds it.

有时候，你正好走过一颗蛋，可是别人先发现了它

Sometimes the little kids don't find any, so you have to help them.

有时候，小孩子找不到彩蛋，（他们会很失望地哭起来），所以你得帮助他们。（像我一样）

But by the time we go home, everyone has had a happy Easter.

但是，到了回家的时候，每个人都过了一个快乐的复活节。

（我和妹妹吃了好多巧克力蛋，哈哈)

复活节活动/手工： 

1. 准备材料：鸡蛋（或木制/塑料蛋），彩纸，剪刀，胶水，鸡蛋盒，绿色草地。

制作属于你自己的复活节动物彩蛋吧，看看谁最有创意呢？

2. 平面装饰彩蛋。

准备材料：彩纸，剪刀，彩色丝线和缎带，胶水，图形胶带，彩笔。

3. 手指印画小黄鸡

毛茸茸的黄色小鸡是复活节的标志动物。蘸取黄色颜料，用整个手掌印在纸上，然后添上眼睛，嘴巴和爪子，变成可爱的手印小鸡。
