爱心树 The Giving Tree- Part I

TheGiving Tree 

爱心树

Once there wasa tree

有一棵树

And she loved alittle boy

她好喜欢一个小男孩

And every daythe boy would come

小男孩每天都会跑来找她

And he wouldgather her leaves

收集她的叶子

And make theminto crowns and play king of the forest.

做成花环戴在头上当森林之王

He would climbup her trunk

会爬上树干

And swing fromher branches

会抓着树枝荡秋千

And eat apples

吃她的苹果

Ant hey wouldplay hide-and-go-seek

会和她一起玩捉迷藏

And when he wastired, he would sleep in her shade

小男孩累了就会在树影里睡着

And the boyloved the tree….very much

小男孩很爱这颗树。。。。非常，

And the treewas happy.

树也很开心

But time wentby,

时间慢慢过去

And the boygrew older.

小男孩长大了

And the treewas often alone.

树经常独单

The one day theboy came to the tree and the tree said, “Come, Boy, come and climb up my trunkand swing from my branches and eat apples and play in my shade and be happy.”

有一天男孩出现在树前。树说“开来小男孩， 快来爬树，把我树枝当荡秋千，吃苹果，在我树影下玩的开心”

“I am too bigto climb and play,” said the boy.

小男孩说：我长大了不能爬树和玩了

“I want to buythings and have fun. I want some money. Can you give me some money?”

小男孩说：“我要买东西来玩，但没钱，你能给我钱吗？

“I’m sorry, “saidthe tree, “but I have no money. I have only leaves and apples. Take my apples,Boy, and sell them in the city. Then you will have money and you will be happy.”

树说：“我没有钱，我只有苹果，你把它们摘了拿到城里面卖掉就会有钱了。有钱你就会开心“

And so the boyclimbed up the tree and gathered her apples and carried them away.

于是男孩爬上树摘走了所有的苹果

And the treewas happy.  

树感到很快乐
