  There are several endangered animals in Asia. 亚洲有几种濒危的动物。

One is the elephant. 一种是大象。

Hunters kill the elephant for their ivory tusks. 猎人们为获取象牙而捕杀大象。

People use the ivory to make decorations. 象牙被用来做成装饰物。

 Another animal in danger is the panda.  另一种濒危动物是熊猫。

Pandas live in bamboo trees in China. 熊猫生长在中国，以竹林为家。

When people cut down the trees, 人们砍伐竹林，

the panda have no place to live and no food to eat.

熊猫失去居住地，也没有吃的东西。

Tigers are also hunted in India for their fur. 在印度，人们为了虎皮而捕杀老虎。

In the past, no one protected these animals. 过去，没有人注意保护这些动物。

Now, countries are trying to save them. 现在，各国正在试图挽救它们。
