A budget Malaysian carrier has apologized after it sparked outrage with a sleazy advertising slogan urging tourists to "get off in Thailand". AirAsia used the tongue-in-cheek message - alluding to the country's vast sex industry - on buses and at the airport in Brisbane, Australia, to promote the airline's direct flights from Brisbane to Bangkok. 
近日，来自马来西亚的廉价航空公司亚洲航空的一则广告号召游客"get off in Thailand"(既有"在泰国下机"之意，也有"到泰国爽一下"之意)，被指"涉huang"，引发众怒，亚航不得不为此致歉。亚航在澳大利亚布里斯班的公交车和机场投放了这则广告，目的是宣传布里斯班直飞曼谷的班机，"get off in Thailand"以戏谑的口吻暗示泰国庞大的xing产业。

But the message angered campaigners who said it promoted the sexual exploitation of women. AirAsia later removed the ads and apologized for causing offense. Thailand is one of the sex tourism capitals of the world. The country has almost 125,000 sex workers, according to the UN.

Rare Harry Potter book sold

A rare copy of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" has sold at auction for ￡68,000. The unique copy was one of only 500 first editions to feature multiple mistakes, including misspelling the title "Harry Potter and the Philospher's Stone" on the back cover and having Harry's school equipment list include the item "1 wand" twice. 
近日，一本稀有的初版《哈利波特与魔法石》被以6.8万英镑(约合人民币60.5万元)的价格在拍卖会上售出。这个稀有的版本仅有500本，但里面存在多处错误，包括将封底标题错拼成"Harry Potter and the Philospher's Stone"，哈利学校的用具列表上"一支魔杖"出现了两次。

JK Rowling's full name, Joanne Rowling, also appears within the book, while the author's handwritten signature appears in the copy. Of the 500 first editions that were printed, around 300 are thought to have gone into libraries, meaning fewer are in pristine condition.

China launches new satellite

China sent a new data relay satellite into orbit from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan province late Sunday night. The Tianlian II-01 satellite was launched at 11:51 pm by a Long March-3B carrier rocket. As the first satellite to constitute China's second-generation data relay satellite network, the Tianlian II-01 will provide data relay, measurement and control, transmission services for manned spacecraft, satellites, carrier rockets and other nonspacecraft users. 
3月31日23时51分，我国在四川省西昌卫星发射中心用长征三号乙运载火箭，将新型数据中继卫星天链二号01星送入轨道。天链二号01星是我国第二代数据中继卫星系统的第一颗卫星，将为载人航天器、卫星、运载火箭以及非航天器用户提供数据中继、测控和传输等服务。

The Tianlian II network will be markedly more advanced in mission planning, system management and operations than the first-generation network composed of Tianlian I satellites. The new network, with faster data transfer and higher multiobjective service capability, will play an important role in improving transmission promptness, in-orbit security and mission flexibility for medium- and low-Earth orbiting satellites and manned spacecraft.
