The US President Trump has seen staff turnover in excess of 37% over the calendar year ending June 30, an AP analysis of White House filings shows. 
近日美联社对白宫文件进行的分析显示，截至6月30日，为美国总统特朗普服务的员工的离职率已超过37%，特朗普主导的白宫正刷新人员流失方面的纪录。

Trump's White House is setting records for attrition. According to the most recent filing, 141 staffers who worked for the president at that point last year are gone, with 138 new arrivals. 
根据最新的文件，去年6月30日服务于特朗普总统的工作人员中有141人已离职，白宫又新雇佣了138人。

The figures don't include those who arrived and departed during the year or those who departed before June 30, 2017. Some 61% of Trump's senior-most aides have left the White House. Only Bill Clinton's 42% comes close for the last five administrations.

Japanese wellness device maker Tanita unveiled a newest creation, a handheld smell checker that analyzes body odor and ranks its intensity on a scale of 1 to 10. Called the ES-100, Tanita's smell-sensing device was inspired by the company's range of alcohol breath analyzers. 
近日，日本保健设备制造商百利达推出一项新发明——一款手持体臭检测器，能分析体臭并根据体臭程度将其分为1至10级。百利达的这款名为ES-100的体臭检测器的灵感来自该公司的酒精呼气检测仪。

The company adapted its technology to check for odor-producing particulate matter instead of alcohol. This gadget is super-easy to use. Just flip it open and point the built-in sensor toward the problematic areas of body. It reportedly takes about 10 seconds for the handheld device to collect and analyze data, after which it will display a numerical result on its small LED display.

0 means you don't smell, 1 to 4 are acceptable levels of body odor, 5 to 9 should really have you concerned, and a 10 means you're a walking biohazard. The ES-100 was commercially launched on July 1, with pricing being left up to retailers.

Just landed that job in your company's Asia office? Now's the time to start renegotiating your salary. Asia's cities are now some of the most expensive destinations for expats, according to a 2018 survey published by international consulting firm Mercer.

Top of that list is Hong Kong by bumping Angolan capital Luanda off the top spot. Not surprising for a city where even a parking space can cost $760,000. Of the top 10 cities ranked by Mercer, there were six Asian destinations, with Tokyo at number two, Singapore at four, Seoul at five, Shanghai at seven, Beijing at nine.

Mosquito Forecast debuts

A meteorological center in Jiangsu has debuted China's first-ever forecast for mosquitoes. The forecast divides mosquito activity into four levels, and predicts the so-called "haunt condition," or how many mosquitoes there are, in different regions on the basis of accurate hourly weather data. 
江苏省气象中心近日推出国内首个"蚊子出没"预报。该预报将蚊子的活动划分为4个等级，然后根据精确到每小时的气象数据，预测不同地区蚊子所谓的"出没实况"或蚊子的数量。

The provincial meteorological center allows users to check their local mosquito figures online, in real-time, along with how future meteorological conditions in the following three days will influence mosquito numbers.
江苏省气象中心允许用户实时在线查询所在地蚊子出没的数据，以及未来三天的气象条件会对蚊子的数量造成怎样的影响。
