The FINA World Masters Championships Gwangju 2019, gathering more than 4,000 aquatic sports enthusiasts, is currently underway in the Korean city until Sunday August 18. China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Team claimed a gold medal in a dragon boat race during the 2019 World Police and Fire Games in Chengdu on August 9, 2019. More than 10 teams from China and abroad participated in dragon boat races during the games. Team Hong Kong claimed 3 medals from seven dragon boat events.
There are only about 60 days left to the 7th CISM military World Games. Naval Pentathlon events will be organized in accordance with the latest CISM Naval Pentathlon regulations. It is the first time China team join in these events. Totally there are 4 disciplines, including: men individual, men team, women individual, and women team. The events include obstacle race, lifesaving swimming, utility swimming, seamanship race and amphibious cross-country. The test events were held in Mulan Lake Campus of Naval University of Engineering on August 12th.
