Enter the new year courageously

The year 2020 has been fraught with challenges, crises and general hardship with the world. Many lives were lost to the virus. 

2020年充满了挑战、危机和困难，全世界都在面对这样的处境。在疫情中，很多人离开了这个世界。

Many jobs were lost, and many people were displaced. Many businesses were shut down for a long time, and even after the lockdown, many business owners struggled to make ends meet while working on limited capacity.

很多人失去了工作，很多人流离失所，很多人的生意无法做下去。即使是在封城以后，很多商人仍然想尽办法利用仅有的资源，艰难维生。

Lockdown and quarantine became popular words globally, with global economies taking a downturn with standards of living plummeting. 

世界经济下行，生活质量下降。在这样的情况下，封城，社交隔离，成为了全世界人们都熟悉的热词。

The year 2020 is one for the history books, and a daunting year for many people as our ways of life had to be restructured and important changes made to businesses, communities, and personal lives. 

2020年是会被载入史册的一年。这一年，对于我们来说，是令人恐惧的一年。因为，我们不得不重建我们的生活方式，商业、社区、个人生活都发生了巨大改变。

Are you uncertain or scared of what the new year holds for you and everybody? Are you skeptical about the coming year being better than the one before? Truth be told. No one really knows how the rest of 2021 will unfold, or when the world will return to normalcy. 

新的一年会是怎样的？你是否对此感到恐惧和不安？新的一年真的会好起来吗？你是否有过这样的困惑？事实上，没人知道2021年会是怎样的，没人知道这个世界什么时候会恢复正常。

But we will enter the new year courageously, because we are tough people, and a tough time like this cannot put us down or break our conviction to keep living and be better. 

但是，我们会勇敢地走进新的一年，因为我们是坚强勇敢的人。这样的艰难时期，无法将我们打倒，无法动摇我们创造更美好生活的信念。
