1. ...own whatever land（名词） you land（动词） on

作名词表土地、国家等。

作动词表“降落”、“着陆” 可搭配in/at/on适用

land on... 强调在某个平坦物体表面着陆、降落。

The helicopter landed safely on the top of the building.

*land作为动词的另一层含义：获得某物/落得...的下常

用法：

① land somebody in someplace（类似end up的用法）

His behavior will land him in jail.

他的行为会使他蹲监狱。

② somebody land something（类似get的用法）

功得到，赢得，捞到（尤指许多人想得到的工作）

He landed a senior editorial job.

他刚刚轻而易举地得到了一份高级编辑的工作。

2. claim verb. 的三种用法

① 用法：claim something 要求（拥有）；认领；索取

The police said that if no one claims the watch, you can keep it.

警方说如果没人认领这块表，你可以留着它。

When King Richard III died, Henry VII claimed the English throne.

理查德三世去世后，亨利七世继承了英格兰王位。

② 用法：claim to do something 声称做过某事

He claims to have met the president, but I don't believe him.

他声称见过总统，可是我不信。

These people claim to know you, Your Ladyship.

这两个人说他们认识您，夫人。

③ 用法：claim that+从句 声称...

The company claims (that) it is not responsible for the pollution in the river.

公司声称对该河流污染没有责任。

Now, you claim those files were planted on your computer.
