well, congratulations first. This is a perfect class that can improve your pronunciation, listening skills and reading comprehension. First, let's talk about listening. A lot of people think native speakers speak fast, especially when they are watching a television show or a movie. But they don't really speak fast. They just get used to combine or link words together intuitively so they can get a rhyme of English. Yet, we as non native speakers, don't really know what to do in naturally. That's why when we get those shortened phrases, we can't get them immediately. It takes time to get those linking patterns. But once when we get used to it, the speed of the thing that we listen to will no longer be an issue. Speaking of the reading, there will be some very basic and useful technics that we will go over in this class. I'm sure all of you can get it easily. Alright, don't let me wait too long.
