My dear fellow Campers：
Welcome aboard our Champion English Intensive Training Camp!
First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to express my great appreciation for your participation at this training as it demonstrates your faith on us and it demonstrated your support for us. my name is JTQ, but you can just call me Wing. Before I graduated as an English major inGuangxiOverseasChineseSchoolin southernChina, I grew up in a poverty-stricken peasant’s family in a remote rural village, where my parents have been toiling and sweating on the farmland all their life.
Of all the joys I have experienced in my life so far, I found the greatest in meeting some of those helpful people as I embarked on my pursuit of English study, a pursuit that had been so full of ups and downs. I had arrived at the School with such a limited English proficiency that it could not even enable me to read all the 26 English letters correctly. All of my classmates had consequently concluded that I could be anything but making it in my English. Lucky, my dear friend, came into my life at this tough time. He encouraged me as he said to me,“ I am a master in English! I will speak fluent English!”At his referral, I subsequently learned about Crazy English and got to know Mr.He Mu, to whom Lucky says he owes so much in his study. I also met Mr.Champion, my teacher of English. These are all great people who have not only shed light on my mastery of English, but more importantly guided me with their invaluable advice on how to foster my survival skills in society and get along with people in my future life. They are the people whose excellence has been enormously influential in my life all these years.
Following my self-breakthrough in my study, Lucky and I launched theChampion English Intensive Training Campon October 1,2007, and 13 trainings have been held at the Camp ever since. Regrettably, I missed it between its 2nd and 5th trainings as I was away inSouth Africawith a job offer, an opportunity brought in by my excellent spoken English. After working there for one year, I returned toChinaand resumed our mission to help others while improving himself at the same time. In our upcoming training at the camp, I am going to share with you some of my legendary experiences in life, telling you the story of how I have grown from a country boy who virtually knew nothing about English at all to a boy who has not only learned to speak top-notch English, but has even been so lucky as to grab an opportunity to work in another country.
I am convinced that you have made one of your right and best choices to participate at this Training Camp. I am convinced that you will definitely emerge from it with your destiny completely changed. In turn, your life will be indefinitely empowered as it is unfolding ahead.
