HATCHET

2744

Hatchet is a fantastic novel. It describes a thirteen-year-old boy, Brain’s survival in the Canadian forest after an air crash. Having nothing but a hatchet, he built a shelter, made a fire and got food. He finally made his way back home with all his know-how, determination and courage.

The writer, Gary Paulsen, used rhetorical device in this book very often, and we are deeply impressed by his interesting writing. We can learn a truth from Brain that no matter how difficult the problems we encounter are, we should not shrink back but try our best to overcome it.

After reading 19 chapters, we decided to do a really cool thing——make a recording album. Each student in our class is responsible for a part. If you want to know more, welcome to listen to our recordings. Thank you!
