We use can / be allowed to / be able to + verb to give or refuse permission.
You are allowed to attend the meeting.
You can attend the meeting.
The above two sentences say the person has permission to attend the meeting.
You are not allowed to attend the party unless you finish your homework.
You can’t attend the party because you haven’t finished your homework yet.
The person does not have permission to attend the meeting.
If you want to use them in the future tense,
You will be able to attend the party.
You will be allowed to attend the party.
You won’t be able to attend the meeting.
You won’t be allowed to attend the meeting.
