hungry lion   fox  den

A hungry old lion sat in his den.

 "What can I get to eat?" he said."Oh, here comes a rabbit.

Good morning, Mr. Rabbit. Come in and seeme."

"Thank you," said the rabbit, and wentin. But he did not come out.

Then a dog came by.

"Come in, Mr. Dog," said the lion.

The dog went in, but he did not come out.

By and by a fox came by.

"Good morning, Mr. Fox," said thelion. "Come into my den and see me."

"No, thankyou," said the fox. "I saw the dog and the rabbit go in, but I havenot seen them come out."
