which seemslike a very elegant lady

Who was wearing a very elegant hat

你们是怎么来产生灵感的

When we can see that the shape has beendesigned to the function.

当我们看到形状已经设计成功能时。

Very graphic from the side it's likevery simple shape，

从侧面看，它非常图形化，形状非常简单

and from the other part it's also verysimple.

从另一方面看，它也非常简单。

But then if you look in the back, it's veryround. So somehow taking simple shape but then making complex form.

I think we have been working with thisstyle,

the characteritics of this we want tohave a very much flexibility on the lamp.

But still taking a very little space,so the button to turn the light is on the top,

so it likes very simple, it willreturn, and then it will move in other direction,

And of course it's very technicallyinside to make those principles and every thing either so it does a lot ofsimplicity but in the same time, a lot of functionality.

And here we have a design from one ofthe most famous Danish designers from 1960s called Verner Panton,

The good example of a very famousDanish chair is the one up here on the wall.

Which is made by a Danish a cabinetmaker called Hans Werner in 1949.

The American's nikename “The chair”,the world most perfect chair.

And that's one of the reasons whyinternational crowds is now the discovering Danish design.

But Danish design is not always thatDanish,

because there is a lot of inspiration comingfrom other countries.

Lets see whats going on there. And agood example of that is this chair up here,

Why a lot of Danish designers wereinterested in this chair for instance,

because it represents a lot of newtechniques in Europe,

For instance, one of our big iconicdesigners of Arne Jacobsen has made a chair quite similar to this one.

The sofa is one. Very imprtant for theintimate time.

The tabel is very important. We havealways have a very long tabel in our house.

Where we can both to work and eat.

And then the chair. The chair isimportant because you need to be comfortabel,

you need also dining or workingsituation.

The sofa in our home is the most intimate place.

Maybe the way we sit on the sofa is alittle bit like reflecting our cultures.
