我们知道Floppy是小男孩家养的小狗，他正在参加dog show，dog show，顾名思义就是狗狗的选美比赛。所以小朋友们会认为Top dog就是选出最棒的狗。可以这样解释没问题，但是在英语中我们可以发现很多关于狗的谚语，很多时候他们并不只是我们简单的从字面理解的意思。就比如我们今天看到的top dog，我们可以这样分析一下，狗群里地位最高，领头的那一只，可以引申为居支配地位，有最高权力的人，指首领，老大，魁首，尤指竞争中的夺魁者，优胜者。与狗相关的谚语还有很多，比如lucky dog 幸运儿，lazy dog 懒家伙，yellow dog 无赖，dirty dog 坏蛋。在这里确实是选出狗狗选美比赛的优胜者，是没有问题的。好，我们一起读一遍，top dog，到你啦。

看所有的狗，look at 看，我们之前讲过，比如look at my mouth，看我的嘴，look at the cat，看那只猫... all 所有的，全部的，all the people 所有人，all my plants，我所有的花..., all the dogs,所有的狗。读。。。
We like this dog.
我们喜欢这只狗。we 我们，like，表示对人或事物的喜爱之情，或者是爱好，兴趣的喜欢，后面可以加名词，代词，动名词或者不定式，比如I like apples. I like them. I like singing. I like to read books. this这，与之对应的是that那。读。。。
This is a little dog.
这是一只小狗。我们也讲过的little小的，与之对应的big大的。读
We like this dog.
我们喜欢这只狗，读。。。
This is a big dog.
这是一只大狗，读。。。
We all like this dog.
我们都喜欢这只狗，all都，在这里我们扩展一下，all表示三者或三者以上都，both表示两者都，We are all here. 我们都在这。 Both brothers are clever. 兄弟俩都很聪明。They are both students. 他俩都是学生。 You can all go home. 你们都能回家。
This is the top dog.
这是胜利者。this is 这是，this is a pen， this is an apple读。。。
We like Floppy best of all.
我门最喜欢Floppy，best of all最好的是，I like pork best of all. 读
