In the still of the night, Dolly awakes,
what is the sound that she suddenly hears?
在寂静的深夜，洋娃娃醒了。
是什么声音吵醒了她？
She quietly tiptoes down the stairs,
to spot Teddy, as he disappears.
她跟着声音蹑手蹑脚的走下楼梯，
原来是泰迪熊！
Dashing downstairs to the cottage door,
Dolly can hardly believe what she sees.
她急冲冲的一路跟踪到门口，
简直不敢相信她所看到的。
Teddy zooms off down the moonlit path,
before vanishing into the trees.
只看到泰迪熊在月光小径上一路飞驰，不一会儿就消失在树丛中。

Then, all at once, the woods come to life,
there are teddy bears of every kind.
They join in and sing a beautiful song,
as Dolly follows closely behind.
然后，就在那一瞬间，整个森林好像活了起来。
冒出了各种各样的熊熊。
他们一起唱着动听的歌，
而在此时，洋娃娃正悄悄地跟着，目睹着这一切的发生。
“If you go down to the woods today,
you’re sure of a big surprise.
If you go down to the woods today,
you’d better go in disguise.”
“假如你今天来到我们的森林，
你一定会是一个大惊喜。

你最好乔装出行。”
As Dolly peeks from behind a trees,
she sees her friend with the Teddy Bear King.
洋娃娃悄悄地躲在树后面，
她看到她的朋友正和一只熊熊国王在一起。
（大Dee注：这里的小灰熊就是之前陪着洋娃娃一起睡觉、跑下楼梯的那只！）
With leapfrogging teddy bears under the trees,
the teddy bears play as the laugh and sing.
树丛下，另一只熊熊正一边玩着跳背游戏，一边唱到：
“For every bear that ever there was,
is gathered around for certain”
“所有的熊熊都会聚集在这里”
Because today’s the day the teddy bears have their picnic.”
因为在今天，熊熊们将举行他们的野餐大会。
（大Dee：那只蹲着的跳背熊熊，我女儿一直说他是在嗯嗯！拉粑粑！）
The stars shine down on the party fun,
all the teddy bears are in fancy dress.
Ballerinas and wizards and cowboys,
A prince and a teddy bear princess.
星光洒在欢乐的派对上，熊熊们都穿着精美的服装。有跳芭蕾舞的，有打扮成巫师的、打扮成牛仔的。还有王子和公主。
As trees are draped with flags and ballons,
Teddy suddenly shouts out with glee.
正当泰迪熊爬上树，准备挂彩旗和气球，他突然开心的大叫了起来。
（大Dee：有一次，我女儿看了一半大叫起来，说里面有“爸爸”！我：？？？！然后她指着左下角带着眼罩的熊熊叫爸爸。呵呵呵，我家爸爸是戴眼镜的。所以，从此以后，她在这本书里看到这只戴眼罩的熊熊，就叫爸爸。。。）
“I can see you, Dolly, no need to hide!
Why not come to the party with me?”
“我看见你了，洋娃娃！别躲啦！
为什么不和我一起去派对玩？”
At last, the midnight picnic begins,
there are lots of treats and cakes.
终于，午夜的野餐大会开始了！
好多的美食和蛋糕啊！
Dolly is the special guest of honor,
what a wonderful sight it all makes!
洋娃娃非常荣欣的作为一名特殊客人参加了熊熊们的野餐会，
这是多么奇妙的一幅画面呀！

The guests have eaten all that they can,
Still, there’s one final thing to be done.
大家都尽可能地吃了很多很多。

The teddy bears dance to their very own song,
Dolly laughs and joins in with the fun.
那就是，熊熊们一边唱着他们自己的歌曲，一边跳着欢快的舞蹈。
洋娃娃也高兴地跳了起来。
As the teddy bear’s picnic draws to a close,
they know all good things must come to an end.
相聚总有分别的时候。
时间过得很快，野餐会接近尾声。
Dolly says goodbye to the teddy bears,
now it’s time to go home with her friend.
洋娃娃与大家说再见了。
现在她要和她的朋友回家了。
Back home at last in their cozy beds,
the little friends yawn and snuggle tight.
As they close their eyes and drift off to sleep,
they will dream of their magical night.
终于到家了，洋娃娃和泰迪熊躺在了舒适的床上。
他们打了个哈欠，紧紧的抱在一起。
闭上眼，他们将梦见这个奇幻的夜晚。
