A man poured a bottle of water over Baidu Chief Executive Robin Li on Wednesday at the opening of an annual conference for the Chinese search giant. Li was speaking of applications for artificial intelligence （AI） in a speech when the young man approached him, spilled the liquid over Li's head, and walked away.
国内搜索引擎巨头百度的年度大会3日举行开幕式，公司首席执行官李彦宏正在演讲谈论人工智能（AI）的应用时，一名年轻男子突然上台将一瓶水浇在李彦宏头上后离开。

Looking shocked, Li responded by saying "What's your problem?", before the man left the stage and was tackled by security. ut 20 seconds later, Li continued his address, saying, "As everyone can see, some unexpected things can happen on the road to artificial intelligence. However, our determination will not change, and we believe AI could change everyone's life." The motivation behind the man's action was unclear. A spokesman for Baidu said the matter was under investigation.
遭男子泼水后，李彦宏先是一愣，随即回应道：What's your problem?（你有毛病啊？）男子离开讲台后被保安制服。约20秒后，李彦宏继续演讲，说道："大家看到了，在AI前行的道路上，还是会有各种想不到的事情会发生，但不会改变我们的决心，AI会改变每一个人的生活。"目前尚不明确泼水男子的动机。百度发言人称，此事正在调查中。

Anyone with more than 30,000 social media followers is now considered a celebrity and subject to advertising rules in the UK. The Advertising Standards Authority found mummy blogger, Sarah Willox Knott, breached its rules when she promoted an over-the-counter sleeping sedative, as her 37,000 Instagram followers classified her as a "celebrity".

The ruling is the first of its kind where a social media "influencer" has fallen foul of regulations banning celebrities or health professionals from endorsing medical products. Knott posted an image on her Instagram account in February of her sat in bed smiling with a packet of Phenergan Night Time Tablets visible in the background. In the caption Willox Knott wrote that she was a "night owl" who found the tablets "really helped" when she struggled to get to sleep.

Boeing pledges $100M support

Boeing has pledged to commit $100m to help address the needs of families and communities affected by the two deadly crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia last October and this March of its 737 Max aircraft in which 346 people died.

There is as yet no firm timetable for when the plane will return to the skies.

The Ministry of Education urged reasonable assignments of homework for primary and secondary school students during summer vacation to reduce their extracurricular burdens. This is to ensure that they will have a "safe, happy and meaningful vacation," the ministry said in a statement Tuesday. 
教育部2日印发通知，要求合理布置中小学生暑假作业，减少他们的课外负担，确保中小学生度过一个"安全、快乐、充实"的暑假。

Schools should control the quantity of assignments and parents should be advised not to arrange excessive after-school training for their children, the statement said. Regulation on extracurricular class institutions should also be tightened. Any sessions exceeding the standard amount or content should be rectified in a timely manner, and institutions failing or refusing to do so will be punished. In serious cases, their training licenses will be revoked, the statement said.
