《I Just Forgot》

我只是忘了

Sometimes I remember,and sometimes Ijust forget.

有时候我会记得，有时候我会忘记。

This morning I remebered to brush my teeth,

今天早上我记得刷牙，

but I forgot to make my bed.

但是我忘记整理我的床。

I put my dishes in the sink after breakfast,

我把我的盘子在水槽里早餐后，

but I forgot to put the milk away.

但我忘记放牛奶了。

I almost forgot to feed the puppy,but he reminded me.

我几乎忘了喂狗，但是他提醒我。

I didn't forget to water the plants.

我没有忘记给植物浇水。

They looked fine to me.

他们看起来很好。

I didn't forget to feed the goldfish.

我没有忘记给金鱼喂食。

He just didn't look hungry.

I'll do it now,Mom.

我现在正在做，妈妈。

I get ready for school.

我准备去学校。

I even got to the schol bus on time.

我甚至有时间上的学校巴士。

But I forgot my lunch box.

但是我忘记带我的午餐盒。

Mom brought it to school for me.

但是妈妈把它带到学校给我。

After school,I went outside to play in the rain.

放学后，我出去在雨中玩。

I remembered to put on my rain slicker.

我记得戴上我的雨衣。

But I forgot rubber boots.

但是我忘记了雨靴。

When I come inside for a snack,

当我进来吃点心，

I didn'd forgot to take my boots off.

我也会忘记脱掉靴子。

I left them on because I was going right back outside.

我离开是因为我去外面。

I had cookies and milk.

我吃饼干和牛奶。

I was just going to eat three cookies,

我正要吃三块饼干，

bur I forgot to count them.

但我忘了数一数。

I didn't forgot to shut the refrigerator door,though.

虽然我没有忘记关冰箱门。

I just wasn't finished eating yet.

但是我没有把点心吃完。

When Dad came home from work,

爸爸工作回家后，

I was supposed to get his paper,

我应该能得到他的报纸，

I didn't forget ---the puppy get it first.

我没忘记小狗狗第一个得到了它。

I know it's time for bed.I didn't forget.

我知道到了睡觉的时间了。我没有忘记。

Of course I'll remember to pick up my toys when I'm finshed playing with them.

玩完玩具我当然会记得收拾好。

I took my bath and remembered to wash behind my ears.

我洗澡时记得洗了洗耳朵后面。

I didn't use soap,but I didn't forget to.

我没有用肥皂，但我没有忘记。

I just don't like soap.

我只是不喜欢肥皂。

I guess I did forget to pick up my toys.

我想我真的忘了收拾我的玩具。

Did I forget to turn off the tub,too?

我也忘了关上浴缸?

But there is one thing I never forget!

但是有一件事我没有忘记！

I always remember to have Mom read me a bedtime story.

我总是记得让妈妈给我读一个睡前故事。

And I always remember to kiss her good night.

我也总是记得跟她亲吻说晚安。
