声音简介
In this country, all ambulances are driven and manned by firemen and it was no exception this time while one fireman drove, the other was in the back with me and my son. He started chatting with my son as soon as he was carried in, asking him whether he prefer English or Portuguese.
When my son said either of them, the fireman suggested speaking English so that my son could practice it with him. Of course, that gave him plenty of opportunities to draw my son's attention to offering tuition. It was just a joke. The pair of them chatted for a full hour, obviously, he had been assigned the task of keeping my boy awake. He did this skillfully that my son didn't realized that I was crying all the way with lights flashing, actually the back of an ambulance is a horrible place for me. And then I got sick and I had to open the window a little. It was cold. So this absolutely wonderful guy took his own jacket off and wrapped it around my sons head and neck.
These excellent guys stayed with us during the check-in procedure and finally left when I made sure that my husband was on his way in the car.
I can't be grateful enough to the firemen and all the firemen , and they are all heroes, of course.
