猴子和小家伙

Monkey lived all alone in the jungle. He liked it that way.He enjoyed eating bananas…reading books… and swimming in the cool blue lake.

猴子独自生活在丛林中。他喜欢那样。他喜欢吃香蕉，读书，在凉爽的蓝色湖泊中游泳。

But one day Monkey found he was no longer alone. He didn’tknow why the Little one had come. But he certainly didn’t want his company.“please go away,” said Monkey.

但是有一天，猴子发现他不再是一个人。他不知道为什么来了一个小家伙。但是他肯定自己不需要任何人陪伴。 “请走开，”猴子说。

The Little one just stared at him. He didn’t understandmonkey-speak. The Little one started making himself at home-right underneathMonkey’s hammock!

小家伙只是盯着他。他听不懂猴子说话。而且他开始在猴子的吊床下住了下来！

He followed Monkey everywhere and copied everything he did.“please go away.” Signed Monkey. But the Little one would not go away.

他到处跟随猴子，而且跟猴子做一样的事情。 “请走开。”猴子叹气说。但是小家伙并没有走。

And at bedtime, things got much worse. There was a noisycrackle, followed by some very loud music.

睡觉的时候，情况变得更糟。传来一阵嘈杂的声音，接着又是响亮的音乐。

“Please turn that off!” Monkey shouted. But the Little onedidn’t pay attention and the music went on all night.

“请关掉它！”猴子喊道。但是小家伙没有注意，音乐持续了一整夜。

The next morning, tired Monkey found a quiet spot. But theLittle one soon found it too. He brought Monkey a jam sandwich and a beautifulred flower.

第二天早晨，疲惫的猴子找到了一个安静的地方。但是小家伙很快也找到了那。他给猴子带来了果酱三明治和一朵美丽的红色花朵。

“please leave me alone!” cried Monkey, and he stomped offfor a swim. As he sank into the cool water, Monkey said, “peace at last.”

“请别打扰我！”猴子说到，气的跺跺脚就转身走去游泳。当他沉入凉水时，猴子说，“终于平静了。”

But he spoke too soon- the Little one had followed him tothe lake! “leave me alone!” shouted Monkey. This time the Little one seemed tounderstand monkey-speak and he left.

但是话说的太早了-小家伙跟着他去了湖边！ “离我远点！”猴子喊道。这次，小家伙似乎听得懂猴子的话，他离开了。

Monkey was alone again. It was just what he wanted. Butsomehow it didn’t feel the same as before. He couldn’t be bothered to read abook or swim I the lake.

猴子又一个人了。这正是他想要的。但不知为何，感觉跟以前不同。他不想读书也不想游泳。

The next morning Monkey noticed the Little one had leftbehind his tiny pot of jam and loaf of bread “what will he eat?” Monkeyworried. “He doesn’t like bananas.”

第二天早上，猴子发现小家伙走了，丢下了他那小罐果酱和一条面包，“那他吃什么呢？”猴子很担心。“他又不喜欢香蕉。”

Monkey had to find the Little one straight away. He lookedeverywhere, even climbing the tallest tree, but there was no sign of the Littleone.

猴子不得不立刻找到小家伙。他四处张望，甚至爬上最高的树，但都没有小家伙的踪影。

Monkey flopped down in the despair. Then he noticed one ofthe Little one’s favourite flowers.

猴子在绝望中爬下树来。忽然他发现了一朵小家伙最喜欢的花。

There was one place he hadn’t looked- the field with thebeautiful red flowers. Monkey ran as fast as he could. He didn’t stop until hereached the field…

还有一个地方他没有找-那里开满了美丽的红色花朵。猴子以最快的速度跑了过去直到他到达了那片田野…

“I’ve found you!” cried Monkey. “please come back!” theLittle one gave Monkey a big hug… and Monkey gave him a small jam sandwich.

“我找到了你！”猴子喊道。“回来吧！”小家伙给了猴子一个大大的拥抱……猴子给了他一个小小的果酱三明治。

And things went back to the way they were before. The Littleone still followed Monkey everywhere…but somehow Monkey didn’t mind anymore.And so, Monkey and the Little one stayed together in the jungle, because theyboth liked it that way.

一切又回到了以前。小家伙仍然到处跟随着猴子……但猴子不再介意了。因此，猴子和小家伙一起生活在丛林中，因为他们俩都喜欢那样。
