The Wimbledon Championships 2020 has been canceled due to public health concerns linked to the coronavirus epidemic, the All England Lawn Tennis Club said on Wednesday. 

全英草地网球俱乐部4月1日表示，由于新冠肺炎疫情引发公共卫生担忧，2020年温布尔登网球锦标赛取消。

The Grand Slam tennis tournament, which was scheduled to take place from June 29 to July 12, will now be staged from June 28 to July 11, 2021. 

这一原定于今年6月29日至7月12日举行的大满贯赛事将改期至2021年6月28日至7月11日举行。

It marks the first time in 75 years that the grasscourt Grand Slam will not be held after World War II prevented organizers from holding the tournament between 1940-1945. 

这是自1940年至1945年间温网因二战停赛之后，75年来温网首次取消赛事。

As humans retreat into their homes as more and more countries go under coronavirus lockdown, wild animals are slipping cover to explore the empty streets of some of our biggest cities.

3/ Flight to bring students home

The Chinese Foreign Ministry is coordinating with the Civil Aviation Administration of China and other departments to arrange a flight to the UK on Thursday to bring back Chinese students in need, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said on Wednesday. 

外交部发言人华春莹4月1日表示，外交部正在积极协调民航总局等部门，将于2日增加临时航班赴英，为确有困难的海外学子归国提供便利。

While the UK has more than 220,000 Chinese students at 154 universities, about 15,000 Chinese teenagers are studying at more than 1,000 British private schools, making China the top source of overseas students in the UK, according to the Chinese embassy in London. The number of COVID-19 cases in the UK reached more than 25,000 on Wednesday.

China has adopted new measures to ensure the quality of medical supply exports, such as COVID-19 test kits and surgical masks, which are expected to offer more robust guarantees on these products, experts said on Wednesday. 

专家4月1日称，我国已采取新措施确保新冠病毒检测试剂、医用口罩等出口医疗物资的质量，预计将为这些产品提供更可靠的保证。

Starting on Wednesday, exporters of COVID-19 test kits, surgical masks, protective gowns, ventilators and infrared thermometers must provide extra documentation when they go through customs clearance to prove their products have obtained China's registration certification for medical devices and met the quality standards of the importing country or region, according to an official document. 

根据商务部、海关总署、国家药品监督管理局联合发布的公告，自4月1日起，出口新冠病毒检测试剂、医用口罩、防护服、呼吸机、红外体温计的企业向海关报关时，须提供额外的文件，以证明其产品已取得我国医疗器械产品注册证书，符合进口国(地区)的质量标准。

Customs authorities will release exports based on a registration certificate approved by medical product administrations, according to the document, which was jointly released by the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs and the National Medical Products Administration. China accounts for about one-fifth of the global production of multifunction ventilators and for about 50% of global face mask output.

海关相关部门凭药品监督管理部门批准的注册证书验放。目前中国多功能呼吸机的产量约占全球的1/5，口罩产量约占全球的一半。
