Another hundred years passed and it was finally time! He could finally see over the trees, but he did not like what he saw.

There was a kingdom of huge Rats that had built a castle next to the river. Not only that but they had built a dam stopping the river from flowing. The lands were dry and acrid of where they had settled

Baby Oak said to Daddy Oak ‘How could you lie to me! There is clearly something wrong, an army of destructive Rats has made a castle next to our forest, And giant rats are known to bite right through trees!’

The three trees watched for years and years, the rats build huge houses made out of stone. The seemed not to care about the land around them, as if they were separated from it.

But suddenly, something terrible happened. They began biting through the trees of the ancient forest. Big crowds of them would fiercely gnaw away at the trees until they fell down. They wanted the trees, because they had discovered fire!

Father! We must stop them, I must drag my roots out of the ground and save them!
You cannot do that son, Trees cant Walk!
Baby oak said nothing.

6 months pass and the Rats bring on their own destruction. An enormous blazing fire had broke out in the village,the rats were screaming for their lives!

They had no way of saving themselves, no water to put out the because they had blocked the river to make a dam.

Oh my god! Said Willow. She was very scared.
How could this happen They knew what danger the fire was, and they still continued to use it. They deserve their fate , they destroyed our trees to burn them and now our trees are fighting back.

We must stop this! They are going to die! And not long after the flames will come and destroy us!

And as he said he let out a deafening scream as he dragged his roots out the ground, firing soil into the air and leaving huge holes in the ground where his roots once were.
他一边说着，一边发出一声震耳欲聋的尖叫，一边把他的根从地里拔了出来，把泥土抛向空中，在他的根原来所在的地方留下了巨大的洞
After a short struggle Baby oak dragged each one of his roots out the ground, which now acted as legs.
You must stop this!
Baby oak said nothing.
经过一番短暂的挣扎，小橡树把每根根都从地里拔了出来，变成了两条腿。

He marched through the forest, and passed all the stumps where the rats had been biting the trees down. He began marching down the valley with huge booming steps that shook the whole forest.
他大步穿过森林，走过所有被老鼠咬倒的树桩。他开始迈着巨大的、轰隆隆的、震动了整个森林的脚步，沿着山谷往下走。
Daddy oak and Willow both looked on in Horror.

Baby oak arrived at the fire, and attempted to put it out. But he didn’t know how, he thought if he beat the flames with his huge branches it would go out, but it didn’t, and in fact, he caught fire.
小橡树来到大火前，想把火扑灭。
但是他不知道怎么做，他以为如果他用他的大树枝去扑灭火焰，火焰就会熄灭，但是火焰不但没有熄灭，小橡树也着了火
His father wactched this, and became even more scared. No SOoooonnnn!!!!
Daddy help, said baby oak
Daddy Oak had to do the impossible to save his son. He, had too walk.
他的父亲看的这些，变得更加害怕。不 ! ! ! !
爸爸！救命！！小橡树说
橡树爸爸不得不做不可能的事来救他的儿子，他不得不走路。
So he tore his roots out of the ground much in the same way baby oak did, except his roots were much deeper and stronger. It made a very loud sound. Not long after we was stood on two legs made out of his roots.
于是他像小橡树一样把根从地里拔出来，只是根更深更壮。它发出很大的声音。不久之后，他就用他的根做成的两条腿站了起来。
Trees can walk
Daddy oak began marching down the hill to save his son. But as he was a wise old tree, he knew exactly what needed to be done.
树可以走路
橡树爸爸开始下山去救他的儿子。但由于他是一棵智慧的老树，他知道该做些什么
As Baby Oak continued to be engulfed in flames, daddy oak Marched straight to the dam, He broke the Dam, and released the river.

The river came crashing through the valley. And rushed towards the Rats burning village.
Baby oak ran in to the gushing water and the flames were put out instantly.

The river also put out the flames of the village. Its as if the flames were swallowed by the water and disappeared. Many of Rats machines were destroyed, but none of the rats died from the water or fire

After the event. Daddy Oak and Baby Oak stood towering over the Rats of the Rat village. ‘Kind and honorobale trees, will thankyou for your service! In return we shall not pester your forest anymore, nor block up the river, quite the opposite, we are going to live in the river.

And then the strangest thing happened. All the rats jumped into the water. The Rats tails became fins. The Rats legs disappeared into their body’s, and their skin became scaly. They had turned into fish! They then swam off in a huge group off into the distance.
然后最奇怪的事情发生了。所有的老鼠都跳进了水里。它们的尾巴变成了鳍。他们的腿消失在身体里，皮肤变得有鳞。它们变成了鱼!

Daddy oak and Baby Oak hugged each other and walked back into the forest. Neither of them needed to walk again. And the forest experienced everlasting peace.
