Another afternoon

It was another lazy afternoon, Elisabeth sat down at the table in the coffee shop staring out over the street. This was her 365th day of sitting there, same time, same place,  even same posture.
A year ago, Elisabeth first came to this town, as she wanted to find her fiancé who had left her on their great wedding. She didn’t know what on earth had happened and wanted to die in torturous pain, until she heard that her fiancé had been in this town. Every afternoon she sat there and wanted to identify her fiancé among the crowd walking in front of the coffee shop. But the days went by, her fiancé didn't appear.
Just as Elisabeth was to leave in despair, a young man in black appeared in front of the coffee shop window. 
'John,' she cried. But he didn't notice her. Elisabeth banged on the coffee shop window as if she was mad. 
'Bang!'  All the glass were broken, one of them knocked that young man on the head. What a mess! 
It was John, yes, her fiancé. But he could no longer tell her why he had left her.
