背景介绍：康沃尔郡（一）
康沃尔郡是一块令人神往的土地，坐落于不列颠西南部。它可以算是一座岛屿——塔马河将其与英格兰其他部分隔开。
因靠近大海，其气候深受海洋影响。康沃尔经常有强风和迷雾天气，降雨频繁，雨量充沛，夏天暖和，冬天则相对温和。
康沃尔有近48万居民。该郡最重要的城镇是特鲁罗（该地区行政部门所在地）、纽基和彭赞斯。康沃尔人说英语，但是古老的语言——康沃尔语，是凯尔特语族中的一个分支。
