Each and every of our virtuous thought

In good times, it is easy for us to get carried away and conceited, so we should be modest and prudent and focus inwardly; in times of adversity, we are often pessimistic and desperate, so we should open up a little bit. Think more about the bright side and take it easy.

Whatever the situations, once we are attached, afflictions will breed. With a troubled mind, we won’t do anything well. The road of our life goes uphill and downhill. It is normal. When caughtin favorable conditions, we mustn’t get attached. When confronted by unfavorable conditions, we shouldn’t be intimidated. Instead, we need to be focused and do what is expected of us. Conditions, both favorable and unfavorable, are not meant for us to carry along as a burden. What leads us forward is the future not the past. Wherever we were from, we need to strive for where we want to go. 

Not knowing where to go, favorable conditions can become obstacles. Knowing where to go, unfavorable conditions can push us forward. Always be aware of the virtuous or nonvirtuous state ofour mind under every and each situation, making sure each and every of our thought is virtuous. If we make effort in this way, all conditions can be used to change our life for the better.

 执着于善

人在顺境的时候容易得意忘形、骄傲自满，所以应该谨慎、谦下、心要内敛；逆境的时候又往往悲观绝望、满目凄凉，此时应该放开一些，豁达一些，想开一点，多看光明面，没什么大不了的。

任何事情一旦“执著”，无论顺境与逆境皆成挂碍，有挂碍内心就有烦恼，就不清明，就做不好。人生的路，有上坡就有下坡，有顺境就有逆境，把一切都当做正常的，顺境不贪、逆境不惧，好好做自己该做的事。不管过去是顺境还是逆境，都不要当做包袱一直背在心里。要走的路，是由未来决定的，而不是由过去决定的。不管来自哪里，朝着自己想去的方向前进。

没有方向，顺境也会变成逆缘；有方向，逆境也会变成增上缘。面对每一个境界时，把握这颗心的善恶。努力让自己的每一个念头都符合善法。在自己的善恶业上下功夫，不论遇到顺境还是逆境都是改善命运的机会。
