Sniffer dogs are a familiar sight at airports all over the world, where border agents use them to detect illegal substances and contraband. 

嗅探犬在世界各地的机场都很常见，边境人员用它们来探测非法物品和违禁品。

Now some dogs are using their noses for a different purpose - coronavirus. Dogs specially trained to detect Covid-19 have this week started sniffing passengers as part of a trial at Finland's Helsinki-Vantaa airport.

Volunteers are training a team of 15 dogs and 10 instructors for the research program. Passengers wipe their necks with cloths, which are then placed in a can and put in front of dogs to sniff. A canine test can deliver a result within minutes.

But while the trial has shown early promise, more research needs to be done to prove the efficiency of canine testing. At the moment, passengers who take part in the trial are also instructed to take a swab to confirm the result.

Tom Cruise will officially take on his biggest stunt yet in October 2021 when he travels to outer space to film a new movie.

The Space Shuttle Almanac tweeted Wednesday that previous reports that Cruise would lead the first movie filmed in outer space on the International Space Station (ISS) are coming to fruition.

A tiny teapot-shaped antique, discovered in a garage in England during a lockdown clear-out, sold for ￡390,000 Thursday, after its owner took it to an auctioneer for a free valuation.

The quickly developing Chinese internet industry contributed to ensuring normal work and studies during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a report issued by the China Internet Network Information Center. 

中国互联网络信息中心近日发布的报告显示，我国迅速发展的互联网产业为保障新冠肺炎疫情期间人们正常工作和学习提供了强大的助力。

"Our internet industry showed its great developmental vitality and resilience, not only playing a dynamic role in fighting the disease, but also becoming a key force for our country to face new challenges and promote new economic growth," said Wu Tienan, deputy director of the center. 

中国互联网络信息中心副主任吴铁男表示，我国互联网产业展现出巨大的发展活力和韧性，不仅在防控疫情中发挥了关键作用，还成为我国应对新挑战、建设新经济的重要力量。

The report shows that internet users across the country totaled 940 million as of June, up 36.2 million from March. By the end of June, those who received online education had reached 381 million.

Additionally, those who used the internet for medical care increased to 276 million, and there were 199 million people who worked remotely online. In addition, the number of the country's livestreaming users reached 562 million by the end of June, 309 million of whom are engaged with e-commerce livestreaming, according to the report.
