Dr. George Hu is an American clinical psychologist and the Chief of Mental Health at Shanghai United Family Pudong Hospital. He is also the President of the Shanghai International Mental Health Association (SIMHA). He is passionate about increasing access to mental health services and the impact of human psychology on behavior and societies. We get into a wonderfully honest conversation on the inseparable connections between culture, society and mental health.

Much respect to Dr.Hu for sharing his past suicidal thought process in such an open manner. these kinds of conversation are very uncommon in my own social life. The fear of immediate worry or distancing from the listeners always stops me. It's true destigmatization is needed. Thanks for the talk:)
