Thanksgiving holiday is about giving thanks.

 Who do we want to give thanks to?

 We should thank our parents for giving us life and raising us up. 

我们应该感谢我们的父母，因为他们给予我们生命并且养育了我们。

We should thank our children for the sweet smile on their faces.

 We should thank our friends for their company when we are down.
